Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Luxor
Board your 5-star deluxe Nile cruise boat, which will be anchored in a private port in Luxor, and enjoy a welcome Zaffa with drums and flutes. You will have the opportunity to tour Luxor Temple upon arrival. Lunch will be provided in the main restaurant on board. After lunch, travel to Luxor’s West Bank to discover the Valley of the Kings. In addition, you will get the opportunity to see at least three tombs in the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. We will pass past the famous Colossi of Memnon on our way back to the Nile. In the lounge, afternoon tea will be provided.Tonight, your Boat Manager will greet you and serve you freshly made canapés with complimentary Egyptian wine and local beer, followed by a gourmet dinner buffet

DAY 2: KARNAK TEMPLE AND KHNUM TEMPLE
Following a great breakfast buffet on board, our East Bank tour will begin with a visit to the Temple of Karnak. Lunch will be served on board the boat following the morning cruise to Esna. Following lunch, your Egyptologist will take you on a tour of the Greco-Roman Temple of Khnum at Esna. The magnificently preserved Great Hypostyle Hall was erected during the time of the Roman Emperor Claudius; it was dug from silt collected over centuries of regular Nile floods and is approximately nine metres below present-day street level. During the cruise to Edfu, afternoon tea will be served on board. A great supper will be provided tonight, followed by a movie night on board.

DAY 3: EDFU TEMPLE AND KOM OMBO TEMPLE
Breakfast will be served on board, followed by a tour to the Temple of Edfu. While cruising to Kom Ombo, lunch will be served on board. You will also have the opportunity to participate in an Egyptian culinary class. Visit the temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek, following afternoon tea in the lounge. The temple is located near a bend in the Nile where sacred crocodiles used to sunbathe on the riverside. Return to your Nile Cruise boat and prepare to travel to Aswan. All attendees will be able to dress up in traditional Egyptian “galabeyyas” for tonight’s entertainment, which will be a “Egyptian Night” costume party. A sumptuous buffet of Egyptian specialities will be served for dinner.

DAY 4: PHILAE TEMPLE AND FELUCCA SAILING ON
Breakfast will be served on board, followed by a short motorboat excursion to the spectacular Philae Temple on the Island of Agilika. Following that, we visit the Granite Quarries, which supplied the ancient Egyptians with the most of the hard stone used in pyramids and temples and still house a massive unfinished obelisk. Following lunch, you will have the opportunity to ride on a felucca (a traditional Egyptian sail boat) around Elephantine Island, Lord Kitchener’s Botanical Gardens, and the Agha Khan Mausoleum (weather permitting, life jackets will be provided). Afternoon tea will be served in the lounge while an Oud trio performs. Tonight’s farewell dinner will be a grand affair, with servers wearing white gloves and offering gourmet cuisine. After dinner, enjoy a Dervish display and belly dancer performance.

DAY 5: DISEMBARK IN ASWAN ON
Before check-out at 8 a.m., a breakfast buffet will be offered on board.
